The derelict place of the Albiston Dr J on the Pine Place (next to the Rose Garden) could be turned into a community garden ๐ฟwith rised beds and a pizza oven. The place would also serve local people as a community space offering weekly meals ๐, volunteer opportunities and various cooking and gardening workshops alongside with family events such as an outdoor cinema ๐ฅ.
In Gorbals are many groups of vulnerable adults who would greatly benefit from therapeutic activities such as gardening. Also families with kids would greatly benefit from a safe space which would offer family activities and community evets.
